Lake Nockamixon Pa- Need Help

So me and my buddy are going to lake Nockamixon either this Friday or next Friday to do some fishing for a few hours. My boat is currently out of commission until next season so I will have to rent one from the boat rental place on the lake so that will be where we are launching from. I have only fished this lake once and was wondering if anybody on here had any tips for where and what to fish for some bass. My buddy is from South Jersey so he has never caught a small mouth so I would love to be able to find a few of those but if the Large mouth are easier to find we can always just fish for them.
