Quillback Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 I lived in Washington state for close to 20 years, did a lot of fishing, hunting, and hiking. Never saw a sasquatch. Never expected to see one either as they don't exist. 2
Super User MarkH024 Posted September 17, 2012 Super User Posted September 17, 2012 I lived in Washington state for close to 20 years, did a lot of fishing, hunting, and hiking. Never saw a sasquatch. Never expected to see one either as they don't exist. That's a relief. I'm not the only person that thinks the Sasquatch legacy is a stupid joke. Right along with Loch Ness. 1
Super User 00 mod Posted September 17, 2012 Super User Posted September 17, 2012 I have been fishing with him and have pictures to prove it!!!! Jeff
Super User Darren. Posted September 17, 2012 Super User Posted September 17, 2012 No. And when it gets the nick name "Squatch" ... please. Those shows are a joke, always looking, never EVER finding ANYTHING. Keep us watching, keep the advertising dollars flowing. Economics 101. But I did know someone who claimed to have seen Ogopogo. Seriously.
Super User Redlinerobert Posted September 17, 2012 Super User Posted September 17, 2012 I have been fishing with him and have pictures to prove it!!!! Jeff I must have been really drunk, because I don't remember fishing with you yet?
Super User 00 mod Posted September 17, 2012 Super User Posted September 17, 2012 I must have been really drunk, because I don't remember fishing with you yet? Yet! Jeff
Jake P Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 Yes. He frequently shops at the same Walmart I do.
Super User slonezp Posted September 17, 2012 Super User Posted September 17, 2012 Fishing, No. At last call, Yes. 1

All it took was some sarcastic responses and now you don't? Me thinks you ought to work on your critical thinking skills (no offense).
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted September 18, 2012 BassResource.com Administrator Posted September 18, 2012 Never saw a bigfoot. But I stayed at a Holiday Inn once.
Super User Long Mike Posted September 18, 2012 Super User Posted September 18, 2012 I've never seen Sasquatch, but my dad has. At least I think so. He called me Sasquatch from the time I was fifteen until I got married.
Super User Fishing Rhino Posted September 18, 2012 Super User Posted September 18, 2012 Sasquatch? What, no mother-in-law jokes yet? 1
quanjig Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 I always look for one when I fish, in fact, when I hear something crunching around in the woods I always call out "BIGFOOT!!!???" hoping I get a response. I figure I should get a response if they have been so elusive for so long the must be highly intelligent and capable of communicating!!
Super User slonezp Posted September 21, 2012 Super User Posted September 21, 2012 Sasquatch? What, no mother-in-law jokes yet? Squatch ya gonna do?
hooah212002 Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 Bubbles has seen a Samsquanch: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9j5e8NUrkys
Super User retiredbosn Posted September 21, 2012 Super User Posted September 21, 2012 I lived in Washington state for close to 20 years, did a lot of fishing, hunting, and hiking. Never saw a sasquatch. Never expected to see one either as they don't exist. Washington state has declared Big Foot an endangered specie and use its existence to thwart any development. Additionally there is dna samples from an unknown north American primate that is closer related than chimps. I've never seen one but believe they are real. Its to bad that the idiots on TV make it a mockery with their Squatch calls and silliness.
hooah212002 Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 Additionally there is dna samples from an unknown north American primate that is closer related than chimps. Ooh, I'd love to see the journal paper on this. Have you got a link? I certainly hope it's in something reputable, though. :edit: I've searched and searched, but the best I can come up with is some Melba Ketchum who, to put it nicely, is a complete twonk and a sham. A terrible scientist. There is no peer reviewed research! Just for the naysayers who likely will pop up and say something like "mainstream science wouldn't even accept evidence anyways", I will just put this here: http://phys.org/news...5-yeti-dna.html A new collaboration between Oxford University and the Lausanne Museum of Zoology will use the latest genetic techniques to investigate organic remains that some have claimed belong to the ‘Yeti’ and other ‘lost’ hominid species. So yea, Oxford is willing and ready to examine legit evidence, but so far, none has been brought forth. :edit #2: Washington state has declared Big Foot an endangered specie and use its existence to thwart any development. Evidence please? I have been unable to find any for this statement either.
