I went to gander mountain and bought a soft tackle box to put all my bags of plastics in. when I got home, I forgot how many I already had , and don't have enough  room for all of them. Should I buy a huge one? I have a Jon boat so I don't store anything in it. what do you store your plastic worms, etc. in? A big soft tackle box?

I have a big tackle box that i devoted the whole top part of to my plastics. I keep them in the original bags, they will be fine like that, just make sure the bags are completely closed, otherwise the plastics will go hard.

What do you mean?  How do you store them in your shop between fishing trips?  How do you store them in the boat?  What?

You went to Gander and got a soft tackle box & its not big enough.  That's ok, bait monkey says you can have more than 1 soft tackle box.  They frequently go on sale at Walmart, Bass Pro, all the usual addiction sources.

For shop storage, I go a slightly different route.  Walmart frequently has the plastic shoe boxes (with attatched lids) on sale.  Every time you go to Walmart, buy 2 or 3 of them.   Soon you will have many.  When shelving goes on sale, buy some of those.

There is no end to how much money you can spend on storage solutions.

No you're not allowed to buy any more storage bags or containers. Just send me all your extras and I 'll get rid of them for you.

i use the gallon size freezer bags and label them for each type of plastic (stick, curly tail, finesse, etc.) to keep at the house.

i fish from the bank...so i don't want to carry a full bag of any one type..i don't need 10-15 one bait.

so i take how ever many i think i may need of each type for that trip and put them in a zip lock baggie. and put those in my tackle bag.

i doubt that you will go through 10-15 of any one type plastic on one trip.
