Maxthefisher Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 Rotary Park is a great park down by Honeoye River That consists of Carp, LMB and SMB. and sunfish Quote
Maxthefisher Posted September 23, 2012 Author Posted September 23, 2012 I was just there again today, and had a little bit of luck. at the south end of the water where the tree hangs over the water there are bluegill who will bite, but are hard to hook. near the parking lot where the rock is that people fish from has small sunfish. the real fishing goes on on the northwest side of the park, where the cattails are, when I was there a man by the cattails who caught a 15 inch pike using live worms. the very far side of the water is very hard to get around to, and a lot of big fish jump. If you can get around there. you will have luck. I get most luck there with live bait. sometimes with a rapala lure Quote
Maxthefisher Posted September 30, 2012 Author Posted September 30, 2012 just went there this morning. caught 6 fish in a 2 hour span of time. from 9-11 a.m. used a spinnerbait to hook a SMB. A rapala f3 lure to hook a bluegill, and the rest were with worms from my backyard. mostly sunfish with live bait, a small LMB about 7 inches Quote
will83 Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 Anyone drop a canoe in here and have any luck? I've scouted this park a few times just never committed to giving it a try. Quote
Super User Marty Posted December 27, 2012 Super User Posted December 27, 2012 My friend and I fished there from a boat 6-7 years ago and got nothing. That, of course, proves nothing. Quote
Maxthefisher Posted May 4, 2013 Author Posted May 4, 2013 I find that interesting, because every time I go there i at least catch a couple rock bass or something, using live worms and lures Quote
