Global Moderator Mike L Posted September 15, 2012 Global Moderator Posted September 15, 2012 Anyone wear the "pro style" long sleeve shirts with the stand up collar and zippered front? If so where did you get it? I've allways worn the Columbia button down with the open ventilated flap but would like to try one of the "pro style". They look more comfortable. Thanks Mike Quote
Super User rockchalk06 Posted September 16, 2012 Super User Posted September 16, 2012 Just me but a T-shirt is pretty d**n comfortable and cheap Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted September 16, 2012 Global Moderator Posted September 16, 2012 You can get them online and they aren't nearly as comfortable as a T-shirt. They're much heavier and hotter. Quote
Global Moderator Mike L Posted September 16, 2012 Author Global Moderator Posted September 16, 2012 Ok Thanks. Just wondering Mike Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted September 16, 2012 BassResource.com Administrator Posted September 16, 2012 I actually find them more comfortable than t-shirts because they don't bind or cling to you. They're nice and roomy, plus they don't wrinkle. Just wash-n-wear. Quote

Cotton is nice when it is clean and dry, but once you get sweaty then synthetic material or nylon is better because they wick the moisture out and you feel dry. Many exercise clothing and hiking/outdoor clothing are of these types of material. (And they don't look funny lol) Quote
Super User WRB Posted September 17, 2012 Super User Posted September 17, 2012 Beyond the style of the fishing shirt you should be concern about the SPF protection rating. I use Sun Days SPF 30 long sleeve fishing shirts, not sure if they make the pro style. Tom Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted September 17, 2012 BassResource.com Administrator Posted September 17, 2012 I've worn our tournament shirts in 90+ degree days, all day long, without so much as getting a tan underneath. Quote
Super User Bassn Blvd Posted September 17, 2012 Super User Posted September 17, 2012 I wear non SPF clothing and am white as a ghost. Quote

Since I'm not fishing tournys anymore I don't really have to worry about it though Quote
