Spotswood Posted September 13, 2012 Posted September 13, 2012 Heading to the lake this weekend for some bronze, interested in seeing your guys perspective on spots you would fish at this lake, and what you'd use. Quote
hooah212002 Posted September 13, 2012 Posted September 13, 2012 The first thing that jumps out at my rookie fishing eyes are those submerged islands, but I imagine it depends on the the bottom composition. Quote
NEjitterbugger Posted September 13, 2012 Posted September 13, 2012 I would fish the channel where the lines are very tight... I predict big smallies in there, please let me know how you do, whether it be messege or a post...thanks and good luck! Quote
mod479 Posted September 13, 2012 Posted September 13, 2012 Points, channels and rock piles. Oh my. Quote
KAAATHLEEN Posted September 13, 2012 Posted September 13, 2012 Need to see the water and whats in it. I would think there are many good places to try. Find the rocks, underwater structure, ledges or drops , weeds lilly pads and moving water thru channels as well as water inlets and outlets. If you can find the bait fish you will find the ones eating the baitfish. Temps have dropped a bit from a few weeks ago so that should help. big or small bass need --- food , oxygen and cover. Look for green weeds this time of year not dead or dying brown stuff. Good luck post some pics Quote
