NEjitterbugger Posted September 8, 2012 Author Posted September 8, 2012 Thanks i wlll definatley look into it....have you been there recently? Quote
NEjitterbugger Posted September 10, 2012 Author Posted September 10, 2012 Funny you say that, went to bow lke about 2 weeks a go and came up with 1 small smallmouth, but i did find a dead smallmouth floating on the surface and decided to weight it....3 pounds 7oz! not bad for a smallie! Quote
Nashua Nev Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 My 2nd biggest Smallie comes from Bow Lake. A hair under 4-1. Got it in the cove that seperates the big lake from the small side. Quote
NEjitterbugger Posted September 10, 2012 Author Posted September 10, 2012 How are the largemouth in Bow..? I know Bow is known for the smallmouth but just curious.. Quote
Nashua Nev Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 Bow is good for both , lots of islands and lots of rocks to fish. a few lake trout and salmon where it drops to 80+ feet too. There is also a sandbar in the middle of the big part of the lake. comes up to about 12 / 15 feet tough to find if you dont know where it is. ----- except on sat and sun the mornings when there are 4 boats around it. NEjitterbugger Posted September 11, 2012 Author Posted September 11, 2012 Thanks some spots there seem very largemouth-ish Quote
