Delaware Valley Tackle Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 I'm considering a culling system and see the Ardent kit on Amazon for $29. Any reviews, recommendations or alternative suggestions are welcome. I only do 10-12 club txs a year so I may not even need one. Quote
central.PA.bass Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 A buddy of mine has the ardent kit and loves it.. I have the ProCull culling clips and love mine also. Quote
Delaware Valley Tackle Posted September 6, 2012 Author Posted September 6, 2012 I like the idea of not poking extra holes in the fish. I've seen the mouth clip style and they seem to often end up laying in the bottom of the live well. Quote
HookSetDon Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 I use the ardent and dont poke any holes Quote
Aluma-Bass Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 I also got my at amazon and love them!! No guessing when looking in the livewell! Well worth it in my opinion...heavy duty wire with nice clips. Quote

M-D Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 Just my .02 worth... I have spoke with a couple of different users of the Ardent culling balls and both had them come apart in the livewell. I too was looking at them and the one big negative for me was the fact that you still have to either write down the number and corresponding weight or dig around in the livewell to figure out what one to replace. I don't want to be in my livewell anymore than absolutely necessary. I searched around and ended up going with Accu Cull. http://www.accucull.com/ I feel like the price was just a tad too much but it has performed to my expectations so far. One thing of note, on their website they advertise mounting it on the livewell lid but again this makes you spend too much time in the well. I came up with a mounting setup on the bottom of my rod locker lid that I think is a much better setup. I have the accu cull, scale and rule all together. The numbered float balls are lying loose in the bottom of the locker. Quote
