Just finished the reel reviews and now its time for the rods. im going to try and keep it short cause i am extremely happy with my rods.

Dobyns savvy 734/735. great rods. awesome feeling, balances well with alot of different reels and looks sweet. great tip action which is compliamented by a very good backbone. defintely will be purchasing more but in the 7ft range, im not in love with fishing with rods that are 7'3 or bigger.

Kistler helium (both mirco and standard guide). again very good rods and great looking rods. Heres where a price comparison is done. the kister's are a $240 dollar rod and they fish very similar to the savvy line. they are lighter then the savvys but they also have a faster tip. the kistlers hvy/f action fish similar to the savvy mh/f in the power department. again very good rods but there are better rods at this price point.

Falcon Clark Wednlandt T7cara spinning:i have the 6'10m/f. action rod for multi-purposes. i have successfully fished shakyhead, dropshots, wacky rigs small jigs and have had no issues. also fights fish very well. it is also super light and i mean light, balances and looks sick with the supreme xt. will def. be purchasing more rods from them

st croix avid 6'8m/xf. again very soild rod, fights fish extremely well. it is a tad heavier then the falcon and doesnt feel as good to fish with for me. not a fan of there hump handle, will probably not buy another avid, im probably going to sell and try something else.

sorry short on time and tried to keep it short. if anyone has anymore detailed questions, please just ask.

a lot of guys have negative opinions on the avid. I like the premier series by st croix. it also doesnt hurt that they have a rod for EVERY style of bass fishing you can imagine
