Seems like I remember a member here starting a fishing charity for kids. Does anyone have that info? If I remember right several members sent tackle to help him get started. I'm thinking it was in GA. I have some plastics and such I wanted to send. And if he is close enough volunteer.

That's the problem I can't remember the name or anything and I lost my paper record of it. seems like it was cast for kids or something along those lines.

There are two excellent charities that are focused on fishing for kids. One is Cast for Kids and the other is Tackle the Storm, founded by Don Barone, following the destruction he witnessed after a tornado demolished a town. Tackle the Storm is set up to help put fishing rods in kids hands after they have lost everything due to a natural disaster. Cast for Kids is fairly well funded, but Tackle the Storm operates on a shoestring budget. Whatever you want to donate to either organization will be very much needed, and is very much appreciated.
