BOOYAH Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 I use the lizzards alot from yum and catch quite a bit, I use the red bug color i think its called. Thats what i have the best luck with here. I like the twin tails on the zelamanders. Great for spawn for me anyways GOOD LUCK!! Quote
Super User T-rig Posted March 11, 2007 Super User Posted March 11, 2007 I dont use the ribbontails but the Yum Craw Papi catches fish! Quote
BassFishingMachine Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 Never tryed their ribbon tails, but their Wooly Hawgtails and Dingers work great. Quote

WhiteMike1018 Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 Ive had compiling success with YUM baits. I suggest you throw them with confidence. Quote
Super User Marty Posted March 12, 2007 Super User Posted March 12, 2007 thanx guys do u know if that LPT thing with the shad enzymes works or is just another gimic It certainly works, but who knows if it works any better than other stuff. I suspect not. All advertising is overblown, but their statement is an insult to one's intelligence, in my humble opinion. "YUM starts a feeding frenzy because it's the only fish attractant with natural shad enzymes plus salt impregnation for even more fish attracting power." If that were true, it'd be the only brand people would use. Quote
WBFishing Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 I saw the shad and wanted to buy it, but decided on the crawfish. I haven't had a catch using it yet. I tell you what it works as strong as it smells we will be in business. Quote
TravisLovett Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 Haha so full pull, your the reason I couldnt find any yum dingers in my fav color! I picked up some bags as well there. As for the question I do that Yum soft plastics catch fish, now if it is because of the LPT or not thats an entirely different manner. I think it most defenitley helps with them hanging on after they strike though. Quote
Bream Master Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 The YUM LPT stuff does work. It is my secret weapon to spray on live redworms when my friends and I are having a bluegill competition. A friend has a small pond, about twice the size of your average bathtub. Last year for about one month, we were raising these two bass in there just to see how big they can get and I purposely sprayed the LPT into the pond. The bass go crazy!! They swim around in circles and they begin to look like they're lost or anxious about something. I think they are definately trying to find where the scent is coming from. Kindda sounds like me when I smell a good steak on the grill. Cheers. Quote
