Finally decided to give the Anacondas a try despite having a ton of Grandebass MTRS I have yet to try. The bite has been super slow, but second cast yesterday morning using a 7" Anaconda in the double header color I land this sucker who weighed in at 2.89lbs. I can't wait to see what the 10" version lands me.

I think I'm going to try a pack soon, saw a good variety at Bass Pro Shops the other day. Looks like they will be an excellent bait anytime of the year. BTW, nice fish.

I throw mine T rigged like every other worm. I love using a small 1/8 oz weight in 10-12 ft of water so it has a real slow fall. The tail has so much action they can't resist the slow fall.

Glad you like'em and I hope you get a chance to ck out the Rage Rig with it (wiighted hook) Tail sweeping up toward the surface. I fish it super slow like a t rig in the grass or shallower waters.

The Rage Rig is about all I use now. It has over taken the Texas rig for me, as I like the profile as it falls much better than a t-rig. Like you said, that tail is tilted up and wagging like crazy as it flutters down. I was a big fan of the Grandebass MTRS, but the Anacondas blow them away. I gotta try out the Recon Worms next.

Thanks. The bite has been terrible the whole month of August. If September isn't any better, I may resort to dynamite fishing. :punch-2:
