that's my plans as well both the BC and spinning it does look like a sexy combo

Definitely will be picking up the new revo s and a veritas. I already have a revo sx and a black max 2, so I'm wanting to try a reel with centrifugal brakes. Plus that combo just looks sweet.

I hope to find a Veritas on the cheap in the next few weeks so it will be ready for my new Revo S. Amazon has the Veritas pretty cheap right now. Well under retail.

Ive seen them under 70 at times from certain sellers (shipped)

I paid 99 :cry3: before discovering this

Oh Yeah!....I've already given my tackle dealer an order for 3 Revo S Baitcasters and 2 of the Revo S spinning reels. I've got the Veritas spinning rods already and I'm going to buy 3 new Veritas Casting Rods.....I believe TW has a 15% discount on most items through Sept. 4th. That would make the Veritas rods around 85 bucks. Not bad. Now I'll be poor!

I'm selling off my Max series reels to make way for the new S and pair it with a Veritas 7'3" MH. Will be my dedicated Texas Rig!

I might sell off my Black Max 2 and the Vendetta it's on to help finance "Operation REVO S". Wonder what I could get for them?

I got my Pro max sold but can't get a bite on the Silver and Black x2. The Pro was the only one I didn't want to sell lol. O well if they dont sell they can always become back ups or finesse rigs

My BMAX 2 is a great little reel. I can sling baits a mile with that thing with it dialed in. I don't ever notice a performance drop off when I put down my revo sx and pick it up. The drag isn't the best, but it's ok. Hell I paid $35 for it on Amazon, and for the money it's been top notch.

I haven't used mine yet. I bought them cause the deal was too good to be true. They are smooth though. I would like to upgrade the bearings to the boca but it's gonna run like 80 bucks a reel.

I've thought about doing that too, but you're right about the cost of the bearing kit. That's a good chunk of money that we could stick towards the revo s.

I just called Boca on my Revo STX and the 3 bearing pack was 45. I may get those after the new Revo.

Project Revo for me as begun!

After you guys are done playing around with "operation Revo" (cool name, by the way), you can purchase Shimano reels at all major retailers!!!

I used to play with Shatmano's when I was a little boy, but I grew up and gave my old toys away for better ones called Abu's ;) ;)

Seriously I have been eyeing the Citca I think it's called 120ish in price, but that new Revo is just dead sexy!

I have both the Citica(E) and the Revo S(1st gen) I prefer my Revo but honestly there isn't MUCH difference but the Revo does feel better in my hand

Shatmano....good comeback. Made me laugh out loud!

In all seriousness, whatever you purchase, I hope you enjoy and catch several hawgs on it!

I made myself laugh too.

Thanks though. I do want to give one a run. I don't care for the look of the winch model and I would eventually like to get another cranking set up so that may be the one ;)
