I'm going to list the things I want to buy, and in your own opinion, if you could only pick ONE of each item, tell me what you'd pick up. I'm a rookie, and I want to get serious this year. Thanks in advance, guys!

This is a list of what I want to pick up for this season, tackle-wise (when I say I want multiple items, you don't have to list all of them, just give me your favorite(s):

5 crankbaits (at least 2 or 3 Lucky Crafts)

5 types of soft plastics

5 Topwater lures

5 Jig combinations

5 Spinnerbaits

5 Jerkbaits

Thanks, fellas!

Well I would want cranks that would cover a whole wide range of depths.  Some Norman DD's for the deep stuff and since you said you wanted some Lucky Crafts I would pick up some that fit the sizes in between

Soft plastics I would pick up

Tubes

Senko

Fat Ika

Shakey worms

Top Water I would defiantly pick up some Poppers your favorite brand. I would pick up some Zara spooks, and a couple of buzz Baits.

Im not much of a jig fisherman so I cant really help you there

I would get an array of color and weight ranging from 1/2 to 1 ounce.  T2 are my favorite brand.

I'd go strike king or bomber cranks of each depth chrome and blue colors.

Worms, Tubes, Lizard, Creature (ie brush hog), Senko. Can't go wrong.

Whatever spinnerbaits, I catch a lot on booyah but I know they aren't the best, but for the price they are good, always on sale for 2-3 bucks at BP

Topwater: spro or snag proof or whatever hollow body, buzz bait, gambler buzz frog, those are the 3 I use.

Jigs: booyah, strike king, I have no complaints with them they catch fish and are decenlty priced.

thats what I fish, and I haven't had problems with those brands, and I'm poor so I they are all less expensive.

Get a 7'6'' H fast action baitcasting rod with 65+lb braided  line.

Then get 5/0 and 6/0 gamakatsu monster hooks, plus owner 11/0 hooks.

Get Reaction innovations skinny dippers(been using these for since they came out a couple years ago great bait)

6 and 7inch senkos.

Horny toads/gambler cane toads or what ever soft plastic frog you like.

14 inch ribbontail worms.

And a flip bait like the yamamoto Kreature or reaction innovation double wide beaver.

That covers everything you need to whack a bunch of fish and big fish.
