riskkid 2 Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 I have a 6' 6" MF and am very happy with it. I have no clue who makes it. Quote
11justin22 Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 I have a casting rod and it is great. If u look around there are very few bad reviews on them. Its a good product a great price Quote
GoneFishi'n Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 I have and love it. Pulled in a 4 pound catfish easily. 7'0" M/F Quote
gr8outdoorz Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 I have a 6'6" MF spinning as well 3 casters. Not sure who makes them but I like them alot. Have landed quite a few bigguns on them (spinning included) and have never had any worries. For the price I think they are tough to best. Quote
yoyoman Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 i have a spinning and a casting. love them both. very light and balanced with great sensativity. Quote
Super User Long Mike Posted August 28, 2012 Super User Posted August 28, 2012 I have a 7' ML and love it. The sensitivity is outstanding. I have landed a four pound trout with it with no problems. Quote
Super User MCS Posted August 28, 2012 Super User Posted August 28, 2012 I have a MH spinning, love the rod. Super light and super strong, very sensative. I primarily use it for soft plastics, some top water. I don't know who makes them but BPS makes some of the browning rods, BPS had similar browning rod on sale for $70. Quote
Scorpio Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 I have two and they have held up great. Good value. Quote
Jim_M Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 Excellent value buy with confidence. My guess as to the manufacturer is Browning ?? Quote
craww Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 As good a rod as you'll find at the price. Is lighter and balances better than alot of $200+ rods. BPS is pretty good about exchanging it if you do have issues. Quote
Stasher1 Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 Excellent value buy with confidence. My guess as to the manufacturer is Browning ?? Browning rods and reels have nothing to do with the Browning firearm company other than the name and logo. BPS has (or had) exclusive rights to manufacture, market, and sell Browning-branded fishing gear. As such, Browning doesn't actually manufacture a single fishing product. More than likely, their rods and reels are sourced from the same factories as BPS' rods/reels. It's just an easy way for BPS to sell fishing gear to hunters who may only go out fishing a few times year. Quote
TNBassin' Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 My girl has the Carbonlite casting rod, and it's amazing. I have a couple of Vendettas and I'm jealous of the carbonlite rods. Very nice rod. Quote
bassh8er Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 I've got 2 of the spinning rods, and like them a lot so far. Quote
11justin22 Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 Oh yeah I landed a 7 1/2 lb a month ago or so on that rod. Handled it like a dream Quote
