My first suggestion would be to start posting these in the proper section of the forum, lest you anger the mods who have to do it for you

Hey guys, i was just wondering what was a good spinning rod for under $100. I'm looking to use this rod for wacky rigs. Any suggestions??

I use the Berkley lightning shock in 7' M power and fish wacky worms and weightless worms all the time. For the price they are pretty nice. I picked mine up at Walmart for $40.00.

Where in WI are you? I work in Racine and the Walmart here has Lightning Rods on clearance. A bunch of them too.

You should be able to find a St. Croix Mojo bass for around 90 bucks. The 6'8" M/XF is specifically designed for wacky rigging.

Lots of rods will work for a wacky rig under the $100 mark. You don't need anything super sensitive or specialized to fish one. An Abu Garcia Vendetta would be a nice rod for a wacky rig, and they just happen to be on clearance at Bass Pro right now, normally 79.99 now 59.99 :)

I second everyone elses opinions and will also add any rod shimano makes from the sellus up to the compre are all quality rods. I would go for the vendetta on sale and spend the rest on tackle!
