A general rule of thumb: match the hook size to the bait size. For a senko on a drop shot, I use 1/0 Gam. Wide Gap Finesse.

^ That's also a good hook. I use the smaller sizes for smaller baits, but forget they come in bigger sizes.

I like the Gammys and love the new vmc spinshots. Theyre quick and easy I tie the top of the swivel hook to my main line then I have 8lb flouro I tie to the bottom of the swivel hook cut to whatever length I want my hook from the weight and then slip on my weight. Theyre also decently priced and can be found everywhere even Walmart. 1/0 or sometimes 2/0 gives you a little extra room for hookset

Careful with hook sizes as the same size hook will differ from one manufacture to another.
