Super User BassinLou Posted August 26, 2012 Super User Posted August 26, 2012 I received my Bassmaster issue yesterday and as I reading along I find out Uncle Homer died this past June. He went fishing with Glen Lau on Sunday June 17, which is something they did together every Sunday, and he passed away that Fri. My condolenceses to his family and friends. We lost a great one. However his teachings will last a life time. Quote
Super User Goose52 Posted August 26, 2012 Super User Posted August 26, 2012 Yep - a great guy; fished 'till the end of his time, then passed quickly - not a bad way to go... BTW - we had another thread back in June on this topic - that's why you're not getting a lot of posts on your thread. http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/103886-rip-homer-circle-aka-uncle-homer/ Quote
Super User BassinLou Posted August 26, 2012 Author Super User Posted August 26, 2012 Yes, I noticed that when I reading about Homer that someone at BR put thread out about him. I don't know how I missed it. Either way he will be missed greatly. Quote
Super User Darren. Posted August 27, 2012 Super User Posted August 27, 2012 He will be missed. Loved his knowledgeable, wise-uncle delivery of fishing wisdom... Quote
