Just got back from a lil topwater fishing and man oh man did that booyah buzz produce. I have white snow (i think) and black on black but i used the white because my pond has alot of shad and baitfish and i see the bass hit them and i caught 7 averaging about 2 pounds and the biggest 3.3 pounds. I love the white but i never catch anything on the black. This might be one of my new favorite baits. Try one if you dont have one

congrats! you should be able to duplicate that success every night at dusk. or at dawn. i close every fishing day just like that. in crystal clear waters it has to be virtually dark before they start to roam and crush it. the buzzbait turns on much earlier if the water has any stain to it. throw a chatterbait after its too dark for them to track the buzz.

Buzzbaits are lots of fun, they catch the small ones and the big ones too, one of my best bass of the year was caught on a black booya about a month ago, around 7lbs. I fish a lot in the evening, and never go home until I've thrown around a buzzer.

Booyahs are good, but cavitrons are WAY better. You can retrieve them much slower. And they make a better gurgling sound.

I love buzz baits, my favorite is a double prop, there is no buzz bait on the market u can fish slower. I hang mine out the window of my truck when new makes them good and squeaky plus the blades seem to start turning a little faster.
