zildjian Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 North Star Flip N Swim Jigs 1/2oz. With Netbait Paca Craw Trailer. I throw them At lay downs, out side of pads, and on flats. Ill Either hop them along the bottom or swim it back out. My favorite this season by far. Also caught my PB on a T-Rigged weightless Zoom Magnum Trick Worm at the beginning of this season. Quote
TNBassin' Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 I just started using it, but the Rage Tail smokin rooster is awesome to fish. Love the way it moves through the water. My most effective bait has been a black neon Yum ribbon tail on a shakey head though. Quote
wademaster1 Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 spinnerbaits; crankbaits and soft plastics are my favorites Quote
cast_and_destroy Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 Anything thats catching them that day, I try to be as veratile as possible. But i like squarebill crankbaits, spinnerbaits and senko's. Quote
Bass_Fanatic Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 If I could only have one bait it would be a KVD 1.5 in Gizzard Shad. I catch a TON of fish on that bait every year... If I could have 2 baits it would be the KVD 1.5 and a Rage Craw! Quote
Jake P Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 Northstar jigs. Rage tail plastics. Strike king red eye Shad and kvd 1.5's. So many more but those are my must used. Quote
Super User SPEEDBEAD. Posted August 23, 2012 Super User Posted August 23, 2012 Bobber with a rattle trap under it, nightcrawler for a trailer. I like to troll with this. Seriously, swimbaits and jigs. 1 Quote

countryfried Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 whatever is working, i remeber there use to be baits i hated until one day they started working but then they stop again haha, but whatever is workin at the given time Quote
primetime Posted August 27, 2012 Posted August 27, 2012 Way to many people forget about tubes. I have used tubes to catch fish in shallow water,Heavy cover, very deep 40-50 ft. and all times of year. gitzit, zoom, canyon plastics,Berkley havoc smash toob-slim body for crankin it in open water.add some eyes.Reaction strike charges to much. If you want to fish in heavy cover, go with the Strike King Coffee tubes, and the Bass Pro tubes. The fatter tubes fall slow and fish them on Slider and ice jigs for sinking gliding effect. Get some tubes, go weightless, split shot it,stuff cotton/styrofoam/cork inside to float it and add scent. Add some nice eyes and its a swimbait. Try to find the MR. Twister Mino tubes. big swimbait tubes for Pigs. Quote
