Super User BrianinMD Posted August 21, 2012 Super User Posted August 21, 2012 Does anyone have info they are willing to share about the Northeast River in Maryland? I have a tourney there in early September and I know nothing about it. Quote
Megastink Posted August 27, 2012 Posted August 27, 2012 I fish there sometimes. It'll humble you. I've had great days, and the last several outings, I've had crappy days. Water is tidal, and I like fishing shallow wood 1-3' (docks, laydowns) during incoming and high tide. Low tide, I like to flip grass in the 3-6 foot range. Water is stained everywhere their isn't grass. I flip Texas rigged plastics on heavier weights 3/8-3/4oz) on grass, 3/16-1/4 to wood. Spinnerbaits and frogs work well in the grass, but focus on areas with Hydrilla, NOT eelgrass ( that stuff is everywhere). Good luck! Fish the moment! Keep things simple! Quote
