Bassfisherman94 Posted August 19, 2012 Posted August 19, 2012 I have been throwing a spro frog lately and it won't walk the dog with being submerged. I have squeezed the water out on every cast but it doesnt help it. What could be the problem? I am throwing it on 50 lb braid. Quote
Super User BassinLou Posted August 20, 2012 Super User Posted August 20, 2012 It is probably punctured somewhere and taking on water. I throw 50lb braid and my frog stays afloat with no problem. I fish with live target frogsw but i used Spro frog before that. Have you caught fish on it already? Sometimes after several good hooksets the frog can begin showing sighns of wear and water in take is one of them. Quote
Aluma-Bass Posted August 21, 2012 Posted August 21, 2012 my spro's do the same thing, cant stand having to squeeze water after every cast. I tried snag proof ish frog and it seems to not take in water as much. Quote
Bassfisherman94 Posted August 21, 2012 Author Posted August 21, 2012 Yea I have had this frog for a while but I've looked all over it and can't find a hole or anything. May be time to retire this frog Quote
