My preference is a slightly heftier rod and willow blades rather than colorado. In general the majority of freshwater lures I use fall well between the parameters of what's stated on the rod. Quote

IMO.. under 100 Tec-spec or my fav is the shimano Sellus, d**n those things are super.. in 100 range, the veritas,-Compre or mojo.. a little above 100, the daiwa ballistic and croix premier are nice.. to me, get ya a 7' MHF sellus, if ya throw everything.
