LunkerLust Posted August 15, 2012 Posted August 15, 2012 I was just online looking for the Yozuri 6# and couldn't find it. Some places had 8# mist green or 6# clear, close but no cigar. If memory serves, doesn't Roadwarrior like the Yozuri 6# ? Your source please. I just read that the 8# has a breaking strength of 12 lbs and for the 6# it's 11.9 lbs, I thought that I'd like to try the slightly thinner line for drop shotting. Quote
hooah212002 Posted August 15, 2012 Posted August 15, 2012 Never heard of this site, so shop at your own risk: http://www.fish307.com/yo-zurihybridultrasoftline600yardspools.aspx Here is an ebayer with a 1lb spool. Says sea foam green though: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Yo-Zuri-Fluorocarbon-Line-HYBRID-ULTRA-SOFT-spinning-casting-6lb-8000yd-NEW-/310421721089?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4846939001 Another site: http://www.thelongfin.com/yo-zuri-hybrid-ultra-soft-275-yd-spool.html Quote
Super User .ghoti. Posted August 15, 2012 Super User Posted August 15, 2012 You're absolutely correct Lunker. That Roadwarrior character despises YoZuri. Quote
LunkerLust Posted August 15, 2012 Author Posted August 15, 2012 fish307, never heard of that one, but yes the 300yd spool is what I was looking for. Thanks Quote
shootermcbob Posted August 15, 2012 Posted August 15, 2012 I have purchased from both The longfin and fish 307 with no problems. 1 Quote
OK Bass Hunter Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 I bought the bulk spool from the Longfin. I think it was 20 dollars shipped. Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted August 17, 2012 Super User Posted August 17, 2012 8,000 yards for $24.99 http://www.thelongfi...1-lb-spool.html 600 yards for $12.95 http://www.fish307.com/yo-zurihybridultrasoftline600yardspools.aspx Quote
Super User islandbass Posted August 17, 2012 Super User Posted August 17, 2012 @ 8k that's a out 0.3 cents (not 3 cents) per yard @ 600 it's 2 cents per yard. The former while looking more expensive is the better deal economically. Quote
HeavyDluxe Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 Question about massive reels like that... Assuming the line is kept in moderate temperatures and out of sunlight, will the line "age" adversely on the spool? 8000 yards of line is a whole lotta fishing. Quote
