Kowen117 Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 I'm looking for a hard body swimbait and was wondering your guys' favorite brand I LOVE the mattlures but I tend to lose a lot of baits and so I'm looking for a cheaper alternative in 10-20 dollar range thanks Quote
Super User Hammer 4 Posted February 5, 2010 Super User Posted February 5, 2010 Hmmm, a hard swimbait that's a Quality bait can't be had for 10 to 20.00. that I know of. BBZ1 shad is about 20.00 in the smaller model. How are you losing lots of baits..? Maybe we can help with that.? Quote
etommy28 Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 4 inch or 5 inch tru tungsten tru life swimbait. on a heavier rod with 15 pound flouro. its a good bet I had 6 fish on 3 cast with this set up today. Quote

etommy28 Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 I have heard good and bad but more on the bad side Quote
Super User Hammer 4 Posted February 5, 2010 Super User Posted February 5, 2010 I would also leave the reaction Strike baits alone. What about soft baits, like Matt's or the Huddelston 6" weedless..? They can be bought for under 20.00. Quote

Super User Big Bait Fishing Posted February 5, 2010 Super User Posted February 5, 2010 instead of the jackal giron , try the BLACKDOG mini-cracker !!! alot better bait with a bigger profile . also take a look at TYLURES sunfish , 26 bucks, but well worth it , also their 6" kicker trout is priced the same . might also give the 6" bbz-1 a try and some SEBILE magic swimmers . not alot of choices but these i mentioned are proven baits ... Super User Big Bait Fishing Posted February 5, 2010 Super User Posted February 5, 2010 I would also leave the reaction Strike baits alone.the only bait that i hear decent things about is the revolution shad ... Quote
