Went out this am and hit up some new water. This might become my new favorite spot. It was not a numbers trip but the quality was there. It was also beautiful spot. Man made lake 200 acre's with lots of rock and little grass is most places. Perfect for cranks, and other deep water hammers.

We started of on top with spooks, jittrers, frogs ect. The big jitter took the first fish of the day and what a chunk. Sloppy pic as it was raining off and on and I had a water spot on the lens. She went just shy of 6 lbs.

The sun came up and I went to the X2 slammer and my bud was throwing everything from jigs to spinners.

The first fish came from 20 ft of water and in the middle of the lake so odd pattern. We hit island points and then I got a good 4 and change chunk on the slammer. This thing has boated me at least 2 fish a trip.

We only fished from quarter of 5 and done by 7:30. Cant wait to get back and hammer out a couple more...
