Carrington Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 I finally saved up enough money to complete my spinnerbait assortment for bass fishing. There are 9 total so let me know what you think of the blade and skirt color combos. Quote
Super User Bassin_Fin@tic Posted February 2, 2010 Super User Posted February 2, 2010 Good lookin go-to styles there. Quote
Ima Bass Ninja Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 Very nice selections, but can a spinner bait collection ever really be completed? ;D Quote
Super User Fishes in trees Posted February 2, 2010 Super User Posted February 2, 2010 Aren't you missing a "thumper" i.e. a large or medium framed 1/2 or 3/4 ounce bait with a big single colorado blade? I don't throw spinnerbaits a ton, but when I do, the thumper is in the mix. JMO Quote
shootermcbob Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 That is a great looking selection. You can always add more later if you find it necessary. Quote
Super User J Francho Posted February 2, 2010 Super User Posted February 2, 2010 Looks good! You need one more, with a single, giant, soupspoon of a blade for the dark/muddy days (and nights). Quote
Carrington Posted February 2, 2010 Author Posted February 2, 2010 ok ill go pick up that, but should the skirt be black or chart? Quote
Super User J Francho Posted February 2, 2010 Super User Posted February 2, 2010 The ones I have, are black, black and blue, and chart. I actually don't think it matters all that much. If you can't find a single blade, just clip the smaller blade off. Quote

midnighthrasher Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 A collection is never complete!!! Quote
Super User senile1 Posted February 2, 2010 Super User Posted February 2, 2010 ok ill go pick up that, but should the skirt be black or chart? The answer to that depends on your waters. I have three different colored skirts with single colorado blades. As others have said, with time, you will find that none of your lure collections are every complete. Quote

Super User Bassin_Fin@tic Posted February 2, 2010 Super User Posted February 2, 2010 A collection is never complete!!! Amen! I sometimes think spinnerbaits are worse than crankbaits. You can never have too many with all the different weights and blade configurations. The possibilities are virtuallyy endless! Quote
Super User Grey Wolf Posted February 2, 2010 Super User Posted February 2, 2010 That looks like a starter collection to me , you've still got a long way to go. Quote
Super User Hammer 4 Posted February 2, 2010 Super User Posted February 2, 2010 How many spinnerbaits does it take to catch a bass...? Quote
