Is This A Green Ear?

Hey everyone!

Caught this on a drop shot yesterday. Not sure what species this is. Maybe a green ear sunfish? It has crappie paper thin lips.

Looks to me like a rock bass.

Nope, you're right and I'm wrong. I'd never heard of a Green Ear before, but after looking it up that is what it appears to be.

Yeah, the only thing I'm thrown off by is the lips. Maybe a green ear / crappie hybrid?

Looks like a green sunfish or green ear sunfish.

It looks like a Bantam Sunfish to me.
