I am a pretty experienced fisher, even at a young age, and am constantly trying new areas, and was wondering what is the best bite rate pond or lake I can go to. Once again, I live in Marietta Georgia (around Atlanta). Please help a fellow fisher out here!

Thanks a bunch!

I live around the Dunwoody area in ATL and found most of my fishing lakes by using google maps. Just made my own google map and explored all the possibilities

The Chattahoochee River is an unbelieveable fishery. Big shoal bass, small mouth, spots and striper all in your back yard.

I couldn't agree more. One of the few places I could catch a striper, shoalie, or a trout casting the same lure. Never heard of any smallmouths in there though...

They are there and in great numbers. So much so, that they are displacing the fragile shoal bass population and hybrisizing with them: "smoalie"

First time I have ever heard of that, you catchin em below morgan falls in the same places youd fish for shoal bass? Would you say this is one of the hybrids? never really knew the difference in appearance between smallmouths and shoalies.
