I went to flip a fish into the boat last nigh. 'twas a bit dark and didn't know how big it was, snapped the my 7'mh veritas about 6 inches down from the tip. First one I've get broken and I bet it won't be my last. Anyways, is there anyway to even fix it at that point? Doesn't have any cracks in th blank, looks like it was a clean snap. Perhaps I just transformed it into a 6'6mh lol?

Abu has 3 year warranty?

Just looked up and yes they do, but I have no way of proving when I bought it :/. How would one go about this, never done it before.

You can try sending an email to abugarcia@purefishing.com explaining your situation, but without a receipt you'll probably have no luck. The forms and other info are on their website

That's crazy. I broke my MH casting rod today too.

I broke my veritas 3 weeks ago and took it up to bass pro and they took it back no questions asked. They told me there was a bad batch of those released early in the year. Great customer service...tip of the hat to BP.

Some companies have ways of telling the year the rod was build by the model or serial number printed on the rod, I know St. croix does it with their rods.
