Bass? Probably last year when I floated down the buffalo I caught probably around 100 brownies, most were small but it was a blast.

Once I caught 23 sandbar sharks in 6 hours. Caught 25 sunfish in 45 minutes once and later on they were not biting good and caught 3 or 4. Maybe 50 fish in 1 outing though.

I've fished a couple ponds with stunted bass and caught literally a few hundred or more in an 8 hour period just to try to thin some of the fish out of the pond. A couple of my friends and I caught over 250 of a mixed bag of smallmouth, spots, largemouth, whites, crappie, drum, and walleye in about 8 hours one day this spring.

If your talking any species, around 20 gallons of smelt. For bass, I really don't know, never keep track of numbers on a good day, only the tough ones tbh.

for bass it was back in the 70's on millwood lake. bass were schooling and a friend and i started about 8:30 one morning after sleeping in and when we finished about 10:30 i had caught and kept 15 bass that were 2 lbs. plus and had released about 10 smaller fish. my friend did about the same and we both were using cordell spot baits and at some point each of us caught two fish at the same time. my spot was silver and the paint was almost gone from the scratch marks. that night my left thumb was literally raw from lipping bass.

I average like 15-20 smallies every evening I go out so this is in 1.5-2 hours of time. I wade and fish the Schuylkill river in Pa so it's an adventure everytime to go out and find the fish.

44 LMB in one outing. 2lbs - 5+lbs last year. Went through two Live target frogs that day. Gives me goosebumps just writing about it.
