midnighthrasher Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 Looking to pick up some of these. Anyone using them? Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted January 29, 2010 Super User Posted January 29, 2010 Yes. Outstanding. However, Glenn has suggested replacing the skirt with a lumaflex. That is all I am going to fish this year. 8-) Quote
J. M. Richardson Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 I just got my first T-1 for Christmas, 1/2 oz white double willow. Can't wait to try it out, but up here the lakes all have this hard white stuff on them that won't let a bait through no matter how heavy it is. ;D Quote
NewKidInTown Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 Looking to pick up some of these. Anyone using them? The best! Titanium Wire,NO TUNING, always runs true.worth the price. Quote
midnighthrasher Posted January 30, 2010 Author Posted January 30, 2010 Their skirts seem a little flimsy. Not very full. Quote
NILBasser Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 I love these spinnerbaits. I agree the skirts are not the best but its nothing to replace if you choose to. Quote
Super User MALTESE FALCON Posted January 30, 2010 Super User Posted January 30, 2010 T-1's were all I used for a long time. Then last season I got two with dull hooks. I returned them, and got two more from a different store. I fished with the new ones, and had the same problem with dull hooks...............no more T-1's for me. I tried contacting the company, with no luck, so I'm sticking with my Rattle Head Baits, and giving Stanley Wedge's a try. Falcon Quote
OIFBasser Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 Terminators make awesome spinnerbaits. I tried their jigs out this past year and was really impressed also. Quote
Bassin for Walleye Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 I absolutely loved the T-1's! With the titanium frame, you never have to adjust it. Quite expensive, but we found them on sale and they were awesome. I lost both though...didn't know it was possible to loose a spinnerbait!! ;D Quote
Super User Bassin_Fin@tic Posted January 30, 2010 Super User Posted January 30, 2010 Their skirts seem a little flimsy. Not very full. The baits are great, the skirts suck big style. Replace with a nifty color of your choosing. Quote

I picked up 5 on clearance at a sporting goods and 2 of those had dull hooks...I doubt I'll be picking any more of those up again either. I got a war eagle from the X-mas exchange and I'm impress with it.Ended up getting 2 more at the Ultimate fishing show. Quote
Jake. Posted January 31, 2010 Posted January 31, 2010 After Rapala bought Terminator they moved the factory to China. That might be the reason for the decrease in quality. Quote
Super User Tin Posted January 31, 2010 Super User Posted January 31, 2010 All I fished until i found War Eagle. Have not bought one in two years but I remember having to watch the swivels that connect the blades. The liked to break. Quote
A-Rob Posted January 31, 2010 Posted January 31, 2010 They look good to me! But I am trying out the war eagles this summer, never heard anything but good about them, and the screamin' eagle will be perfect for smallies Quote
Jason Penn Posted January 31, 2010 Posted January 31, 2010 i haven't bought any in a couple of years but i've used them a lot. when they first come out they were super expensive compared to everything else, but now everybody's sb's seem to be $5-6!!! i bought 5 of the jimmy houston sb's and used them for 2 years. i guess they figured out that was a bad business idea Quote
