Luke at Gouldsboro Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 I saw them at gander mountain today and was going to buy them. Just wondering if anyone uses this bait for flipping or whatever, and if they like it . Quote
Blue Streak Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 I used the big one some last year. I rigged it with a hook with a weighted shank so it fell straight down. It quivered and wiggled like a dying shad or gill. Awesome action. I did OK on them caught some nice big bass. Quote
Avalonjohn44 Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 I caught my PB Snapping turtle on a black berkley beast. Quote
BigBrotherThunda Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 yeah ive done well flipping with them when the coosa is really really muddy Quote
Revo_Carrot Stix Posted January 31, 2010 Posted January 31, 2010 I bought a couple bags on clearance last year and had little to no luck. Always found myself going back to Chigger Craws or SK Rage Tail products. I'll pass on these if I see anymore in the bargain bin. Quote
jacobhookem Posted January 31, 2010 Posted January 31, 2010 Great baits small size is good for fishing on the surface where ever it is really weedy. The bigger size is really good for flipping with a big weight. Had great success with both. Quote
A-Rob Posted January 31, 2010 Posted January 31, 2010 I like the northland slurpie beaver or whatever its called, it looks the same but got better action....caught some nice smallies with it Quote
