Glad you were able to get home in your families time of need. Not sure if I could have been as patient as you were thru the whole process, hope the wife gets better and nice for you to have a little quality time before you have to go back.

Glad your home and with your boys, even if it's just for a short stay, I am off (I think) tomorrow, and work is slower for the next couple weeks too, you could come down here and fish with me any time, just give 12 hours notice and I can make it happen...........bring that anti social ***** JFrancho too , we could have a little WNY Bass Resource fish off..........loser buys lunch (your lunch is on me reguardless). I'll even let it be 2 against one since I am a ringer here, but if I get Noel to come over you'll have to spot us 5lbs, he has been off lately LOL.

Haha sounds good. We made it out for a little bit today got a bunch of sunfish and rock bass. I just spent the last 3 hrs organizing all my new lures I got I filled up 8 more boxes 6 were 3700 size and then 2 gallon bags full of ragetails. Dusting off and spoiling up the new reels in the morning after taking my oldest out again he was upset the wife came with us so I promised him it could just be me and him in the morning.

Great to hear you are back home and your family is ok. Gotta love the politics of the military! That's the biggest reason I got out. While I was deployed, my wife was pregnant. The Red Cross decided to wait a few days to let me know whe had given birth to my first son. I didn't make it home until he was 2 weeks old.

yeah the red cross message wasn't gonna get me home they were very very vague so I wrote a letter to my commander painting him the full picture and they got me home ASAP.

Idk how well the fish off will work I don't have my own ride for this time home cant make any long trips sorry. I did make it out the other day with my wife and son got a bunch of sunfish and went out alone last night 3 bass and 2 northerns nothing worth bragging about biggest bass was maybe pound pike were 20".
