im moving to college here in a couple weeks and was just wondering how you transport your rods/reels. i really dont wanna mess with taking my reels off everytime i put them in the truck

i have a 9 inch lift so i think that would be a pain and i wouldnt be driving everytime my buddys and i go out. i guess im looking for something like a gun case for your rods if they even make those??

I transport mine in a large tube I got from the UPS store. Works great.

I just put the neoprene covers on my bait casters. Stick jackets on all my rods. I only bring 2 - 4 at a time so it isnt a big deal to carry them like that.

I use rod skins! They protect very well and are less expensive compared to other brands! You can get them at tacklesteals.com

There is a bag that you can get from BPS that holds up to 8 rigs.

Cabelas has them too. That is what I use. Throw the bag in the bed without the hassles of removing the reels for transport.
