Super User BASSclary Posted July 31, 2012 Super User Posted July 31, 2012 How many of you sent in an audition application for the World Series of Bass? If I had a boat and 10 g's laying around, I would! Quote
GoTakeANap Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 I wish I could. I have a boat but don't have 10k laying around. Lol wish I did. Quote
Bass Angler Magazine Posted July 31, 2012 Author Posted July 31, 2012 Same here, I'd love to fish it but $10,000 is hard to come by Quote
BassAssassin726 Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 If i had 10 g's to blow id enter the World Series of Poker. lol 2 Quote
Bass Angler Magazine Posted July 31, 2012 Author Posted July 31, 2012 Playing poker tonightjust a few less zeros...lol Has anyone sent their info off for the reality show? Quote
Super User Lund Explorer Posted August 1, 2012 Super User Posted August 1, 2012 I think you guys are slightly confused. The auditions (that BAM was asking about) are for a spot in their reality show, and the $10k is the entry fee for their tournament. Quote
Texas-Rigged Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 2 guys here from Texas have made the cut for the show...If one entrant wins everything thrown at them, they win 10 k for the Tourney fee of their choice (WSOB) Quote
Bass Angler Magazine Posted August 9, 2012 Author Posted August 9, 2012 Right! No charge to send in the audition video and a chance at a free entry in....how many of you auditioned? Quote
78Staff Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 Is anybody watching these? The whole series has kind of a "will it be here tomorrow" vibe going on, imo. May turn out to be the next big thing but also could be the next "whatever happened to..." as well. Anybody know any history on Joe Habib? Quote
zip pow Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 Where do I start? Sign me up. Buy me books send me to school. Anyone who's ever seen me knows I'm perfect for tv. Lol Quote
78Staff Posted November 14, 2012 Posted November 14, 2012 I've kept watching these, just not sure where it's going. Low production value, poor editing, it just looks off. The actual fishing segments are OK but the land segments are so bad it's comical. I don't know if Joe is just a guy with a little bit of money and wants to start his own tour or what. If so I applaud that, but he needs to get behind the scenes and find a "face" fast. Quote
robdob Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 I would be scared to send these clowns ten grand for fear its going to be stolen and you'll see the world series of bass as some scam on the news in the near future. Quote
