Big-O Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 Here's a Big Head that Matt Wilson caught on his 1oz Moaner Predator Jig trailed with a Rage Craw He's a MACHINE with that rig in his hands and what a FIGHT It was a perfect set up, rocky point falling into the river channel and a stiff cross breeze to keep things interesting. The boat rocks on the hookset and I immediately hear Matt say "This One Is SERIOUS". After some intense line stretching and several top thrashes, she finally gave in and joined us in the boat... IMO, from the hookset to lifting the fish from the water is WOW WTG MATT 1 Quote

matstone7 Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 Nice job guys ~ And surprisingly Matt's not wearing Any Camo ? A-Jay Well actually, I changed to spare pair of shorts before the picture knowing the BR consequences for wearing camo shorts in the picture.... LMAO Camo shorts make as much difference as bait/color selection but, should be hidden as often as possible like your favorite bait. Thanks babe and Shane. 1 Quote
Deep Jig Posted August 15, 2012 Posted August 15, 2012 Have to ask, are these your buddies or employees on the boat or are you guiding? Quote
Big-O Posted August 16, 2012 Author Posted August 16, 2012 Have to ask, are these your buddies or employees on the boat or are you guiding? No problem and Thanks for asking! I mainly fish alone or with close friends anymore and haven't guided in years... Guiding is a tough JOB and FAR too much work for me At my age, I'd rather concentrate on just having FUN Matt, the gentleman in the photo owns Moaner Hooks and is a very close friend. He's also a VERY GOOD Fisherman with similar interest as mine for targeting larger model fish, and doesn't mind the often slow and tedious processes required to search out the MaMa's. Quote
