BassHunter_Hunt Posted July 29, 2012 Posted July 29, 2012 Hello everyone I stated in the titile that I was from everywhere becuase I'm a member in the military and I change locations a lot(about every two years). I haven't been fishing freshwater fish all that long as I started this year. I normally targeted fish of the Gulf of Mexico when I was still home. I also haven't had the chance to catch many fish here in Korea because there aren't too big on fishing so it's hard to find a spot. When i do find a spot they try to stop me or get mad when I throw the fish back. Hopefully I get better chance at my next base in Washingston State. Quote
Super User Sam Posted July 29, 2012 Super User Posted July 29, 2012 When they give you a rough time while fishing just say "Don't understand. Don't understand" and shake your head "no." They do this in America but they go nuts when you turn the tables on them. 1 Quote

ChewysDad Posted August 3, 2012 Posted August 3, 2012 Hi, I'm located in Jinju South Korea and have been fishing the Namgang (river) for several months now. Lots of great Bass Fishing here and the Bluegill are as big as I've ever seen anywhere Found your post on the Internet and joined the forum myself today. I fish from either a float tube or my Kayak most of the time and get lots of spectators. so far no problems except when I tried fishing on Jinyangho Lake, the Kwater folks showed up and it told me to leave, (nicely.) They don't allow swimming or fishing in the local reservoir;. which is a shame, because in the hour I was there I caught a 7 pounder and a nice 4 lb bass. It was during the spawn in mid April of this year. It's a shame, as I would bet there are many over 10lbs in this lake. But the Bass are plentiful on the river and right now (early aug) the fishing is Great. I killed them Wednesday on Pumpkin Seed Pepper and Black Plastic Worms. (Berkley Power Bait Rocks) My number here in Korea is 010-9833-3077 Michael Quote
