I prefer BPS Curly Tail Grubs - most water I fish is stained-murky and I think this type of trailer displaces a lot more water. I rig it curly tail up.

I dont normally use trailers, I use either the skirts that have a built in trailer, or take an existing skirt and flip it the other way so the shorter strands umbrella out and the longer strands are under that trailing behind. If I use a trailer it would be a single tail grub tail up. One thing I never go without is a trailer hook, most of the bass that I have caught have been on that trailer hook.

I nearly always use some sort of trailer on spinnerbaits.  I like the idea that when a fish

bites down on the bait it feels something soft.  That potentially gives me a little more time to set the hook and I need all time time I can get.

I mostly use the Bass Pro Cajun trailers, or the Zoom split tail trailer.

I only use a trailor in stained/muddy water. It's usually a two or three inch curly tail grub. I rig it on the trailor hook, not the spinnerbait hook. I don't use one in clear water.

Mister Twister G Grub, 4 inch.  Caught my PB largemouth and smallmouth on a spinnerbait trailed with it.

I like that rick clunn twin tail trailer with the red tip.  I also use a chartruese colored one as well.

I use the Zoom split tail trailer. I had really good results with the spinnerbait/trailer combination. I would suggest you watch the video Glenn made regarding spinnerbaits. It helped me catch more fish.

The only trailer on the rear of my spinnerbait is the trailer hook. I use skirt bulk, length,color, and number of strands to accomplish what I want.

Split tail worm or a 4" grub.   Always a Trailer hook!

I really don't use a trailer, I would to maybe beef up for some largemouths, but a lot of time I'm just fishing smallies and leave it naked.

Even if I get a spinnerbait with an extended skirt, I trim it. I like smaller profile for the most part with the smallies
