Loop_Dad Posted July 18, 2012 Posted July 18, 2012 Hi all, I recently started fishing in weedy waters. I am trying to figure out what the best way to fish. I see reference to certain kind of vegetation on the web, but I have to guess what they are talking about. Anyone knows a site where common vegetation seen by bass fisherman are pictured and particular identifying features are explained? Thanks! Quote
Bass Dude Posted July 18, 2012 Posted July 18, 2012 This site might help....I just did a yahoo search using 'aquatic plant identification'. It pulled up a lot of stuff. aquaplant.tamu.edu/plant-identification 1 Quote
Highhawk1948 Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 I got a great book from the Dept. of Natural Resources here in Florida many years ago on aquatic vegetation. Try there or maybe Fish and Game. 1 Quote
