Super User David P Posted January 24, 2010 Super User Posted January 24, 2010 Owner makes an 11/0 big worm hook. Quote
Super User Bassin_Fin@tic Posted January 24, 2010 Super User Posted January 24, 2010 Owner makes an 11/0 big worm hook. They also make it in a 7/0 which is a very large hook itself. I reckon it would depend on how thick this bait is.If not that thick then the 7/0 should suffice. Either way I would recommend these hooks. Good luck 8-) Quote
Super User Hammer 4 Posted January 24, 2010 Super User Posted January 24, 2010 I got a couple from Anglers Marine...I used a 7/0 ewg..worked fine. Quote

Super User Big Bait Fishing Posted January 24, 2010 Super User Posted January 24, 2010 are they like the UPTON CUSTOM BAITS 19'' worm cause those things are at least an inch and a half in diameter , if so you are gonna have to use a big , wide hook like the OWNER beast hook in 10/0 . if it is skinnier , use the oversized worm hooks also from OWNER in either 7/0 or 11/0 .... simplejoe Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 After 10" inches, I don't think it should be called a worm anymore it should be called a baby snake. ;D Anyway if I'd throw it, it would be on a Owner 7/0 hook. Quote
Grant Williams Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 We use them on Guntersville! 7/0 Owner texas rigged swimmin'em over the grass. I use Go2Bait, 14". Actually i hook the worm about 2" below the top of the head so the worm comes through grass better. 8-) Quote
Super User eyedabassman Posted January 24, 2010 Super User Posted January 24, 2010 Great bait for deep water summer bassin at night! Quote
