We had bright sunshine, middle of the day, wind blowing, over open water with no weed mats, not the best conditions for top water. Yet I caught over 40 bass on that frog, first time I have ever tried it. It was the best topwater day I have ever had. The bass were tearing it up, literally. Though smaller fish then I usually catch on frog it was a lot of fun. My buddy tried different topwater baits, poppers, hollow body frogs, buzzbaits, but only caught a few (4 or 5). I returned a couple days later and caught over 20 more until the wind got the waves too choppy.

One other point, the hook up ratio was tremendous, compared to other bigger hollow bodies frogs I've used.

Try the regular spro frog popper. I have been very impressed with them. Great hook up ratio too.

Can't find them in stores around here or I would have already tried one. Guess I'll have to order a few and try them out.
