Stringjam Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 I'm looking for soft swimbaits for fishing heavy cover. Stuff that is completely gnar - - twisted hedge-apple trees, cedars, blackjacks, etc... I've already ordered some 6" Mission Fish, but the Black Dog Weed Slinger looks like another good option as well. Any experiences? Quote
Stringjam Posted January 24, 2010 Author Posted January 24, 2010 Looks like I'm gonna have to figure this one out myself. ;D I have a Weed Slinger on the way as well. Quote
Super User fourbizz Posted January 24, 2010 Super User Posted January 24, 2010 Mission Fish. Absolutely and completely. Quote
Super User Big Bait Fishing Posted January 24, 2010 Super User Posted January 24, 2010 don't know about the weed slinger , but 3:16 soft plastics are pretty durable and heavy compared to most plastics . i would choose the mission fish if i were you , but seeing as you probably buy both , give us your opinions when you fish both . Thad Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 I vote Mission Fish. I caught over 30 fish on one bait last year. Quote
