I like them for fishing around weedbeds in shallow water mostly. Just rig up with a 5/0 or 6/0 hook and reel it right under the surface to push up a wake. They are really big with the Florida crowd due to their extensive use on Okeechobee and other lakes. I would have to say California 420, Penetration, and Houdini are my top colors

Yes they are very popular in Florida and they are a very good swimbait.

my number one bait last year. I fish it anywhere you would fish a spinner bait.

fish them on a 5/0 keel weighted hook. 1/8oz should do it.

I love the dippers. Money Shot Violet and Houdini have won me and a buddy of mine a lot of money. But I think the Dippers will be taking a back seat to the Zoom Swimming Fluke for a lot of guys this year. They are cheaper and more durable from what I'm hearing, with pretty much the same action.

My friend fishes the skinny dipper in money shot with a 3/16 bullet weight.  He schooled me on the potomac one day with them and loves them.  I prefer the Swim Senko with the 3/16 bullet weight.

In Florida I only fish junebug.  On the Potomac I fish junebug when it is overcast and white when it is sunny.

Swim them over grassbeds and along grass lines.  Fish them in stump fields.  You usually catch a fish when you bump a stump.  They are a weedless alternative to a spinnerbait.
