Big-O Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 NEW from ICAST - A Trio of NEW Products from Rage Tail including the Twintail Menace! T rig, C rig, Punch it, Jig Trailer or Naked Jig, I "LIKE" Naked... How bout you http://www.ragetail....st-recent-news/ Quote
Super User Gatorbassman Posted July 13, 2012 Super User Posted July 13, 2012 I absolutely love this one. It's looks like a very good jig trailer for something a little more subtle. Quote
Super User rockchalk06 Posted July 13, 2012 Super User Posted July 13, 2012 The body looks very long compared to the claws? Any idea how long it is? Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted July 13, 2012 BassResource.com Administrator Posted July 13, 2012 It's about 4 1/2" long. Watch for it in an upcoming video! Quote
EastTexasBassin Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 This little bait is a fish catching machine. One of my favorites for sure and the new ragetail colors are amazing. The twin tail menace also works well as a swimjig trailer- I like to rig it with one tail above the other, so it's vertical and looks like a baitfish tail fin. It's a killer bait on the drop shot as well. Quote
logan9209 Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 LOL! Is there any rage tail lures that only have one or two uses. They all seem to be so versatile. This one will be really hot swimming it, as a trailer, pitchin' and flippin, or just hopping it along the bottom. The bass won't know whether it's a bait fish, a craw, or a grub. So, they'll just inhale it just to make sure. Still think the shell cracker is going to be great. Sigh, I need about $200, a boat (or someone with a boat), and a completely different lake. Quote
paangler13 Posted July 14, 2012 Posted July 14, 2012 Looks really nice!!! I could even see some walleye hitting that thing! Love it. Jim Quote
RyneB Posted July 14, 2012 Posted July 14, 2012 looks good. But with this twin tail bait, and the shell cracker. Couldnt you have made a legitimate rage beaver? I like the shellcracker, but it reminds me so much of the warmouth (and i hate that bait) that im kind of worried. Just take this twin tail and put a beaver body on it. That would be my ultimate bait. Quote
mr.mallard Posted July 14, 2012 Posted July 14, 2012 swimjig trailer the menace vertically. its subtle but very much like a bluegill or shad swimming thru the water. money Quote
Jake P Posted July 14, 2012 Posted July 14, 2012 Ready to throw it on a jig for flipping and pitching docks and boathouses. what would we do without you Big O? Quote
RyneB Posted July 14, 2012 Posted July 14, 2012 swimjig trailer the menace vertically. its subtle but very much like a bluegill or shad swimming thru the water. money Vertically? that would look somewhat odd. Quote
Super User rockchalk06 Posted July 14, 2012 Super User Posted July 14, 2012 It's about 4 1/2" long. Watch for it in an upcoming video! Thanks! Quote
Super User Shane J Posted July 14, 2012 Super User Posted July 14, 2012 All the new baits are killer, but the one I've used the most so far, is the Menace. I've rigged it and caught fish with it in every possible way imaginable. It is a pretty nasty jig trailer rigged both ways, and deadly rigged naked on a 4/0 hook. Quote
Super User 00 mod Posted July 14, 2012 Super User Posted July 14, 2012 Vertically? that would look somewhat odd. I'm pretty sure he means the tail vertical and not like a craw! Jeff Quote
logan9209 Posted July 14, 2012 Posted July 14, 2012 I'm pretty sure he means the tail vertical and not like a craw! Jeff He could mean presentation and not lure rigging. Although, I wonder if you could rig it vertically.....Just kidding! Quote
Big-O Posted July 15, 2012 Author Posted July 15, 2012 It's about 4 1/2" long. Watch for it in an upcoming video! Actually the Twintail Menace is right at 4" but will handle a 5/0 if need be... 4/0 fits it nicely. Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted July 15, 2012 Super User Posted July 15, 2012 New favorites for sure! Quote
Super User Sam Posted July 15, 2012 Super User Posted July 15, 2012 Fluke, the bait looks great as it is. A little dye on the tail and it is ready to go. Outstanding presentation by Big O. Thanks for showing us the new products and rigging. Can't wait to try them on the Virgnia lakes and rivers. How did you get the orchestra to play the music in the background? Quote
