MinsuMichaelKim Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 Hi my names is Michael and I have recently fell in love with bass fishing. I was born in Korea, and moved to the states when I was about 7.First to New Hampshire then to the beautiful state of Oregon. Im 20 years old and a student at University of Oregon. Ive fished before, mostly for trout at a local lake called Henry Hagg Lake. But until a couple months ago was a virgin to the bass game. A friend took me out and I instantly fell it love with the sport. Fishing for bass has shown me a new side of fishing as to the boring old, casting out bait and waiting countless hours for a fish to bite. The fact that your always doing something to the bait to make it look real to a "bass" seems alot more like a sport than the traditional methods. Im by no means an avid fisherman but am always eager to learn new things. I hope I get to know you guys a lil better and increase my knowledge of bass fishing! Have a good one! Quote
greyleg33 Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 Welcome. Don't know if you know it or not but Hagg has produced the last several state record SM. Not a fun bass lake because it has not a stitch of cover other than a rip-rap dam. I'd bet those state record smallies were taken while trolling for trout. Quote
MinsuMichaelKim Posted July 14, 2012 Author Posted July 14, 2012 Yea I did hear about that actually greyleg and that dam is the best spot for smallies some say, and thanks guys Quote
