I am a fairly new fisherman, about three full years under my belt. Primarily bass, a little catfishing. I fish small lakes and ponds. My little sister actually introduced me to the sport in a very very small private pond in Granite Bay,CA. I caught a big 5 lber that first day and I was hooked. Later that year I was injured by being blind sided in my car, and thus became a more serious shore angler with all the time on my hands. I am always trying to learn more and more, I have caught bass from all around my area, folsom lake, amador lake, mather lake, verona slough, sac river, but I do the best at ponds that are not very fished. and are somewhat unknown to most around me. Anyway, I hope to learn and talk with some fine fishermen here. Cheers.

Thanks guys. I will be out this whole weekend hitting the ponds hard in the heat wave. Hopefully I keep my trend of giant pond bass after another. lol we will see though. I hope to expand my knowledge about hard baits mainly here. it seems like there are a ton of people here who like a ton of different things which will be good to extend my knowledge with. thanks again guys.

Before I wind up posting it in the wrong area, I would like to ask where I should go about doing a weekly local report on the various ponds I frequent here in Sacramento.
