I'm a newbie here but I've been fishing since I've been about 5 years old. My interest in fishing slowed a bit when I was in college (too worried about partying and cramming for engineering exams). I've been out for a while now and I'm at a point where my interest has been renewed. I don't have a ton of time to fish with all of the overtime I work but I like to get out with every opportunity that I can.

I grew up in Palmerton... Crazy world. Welcome! You have some good bassn water in your neck of the woods. The Walnutport canal has some nice bass, Mauch Chunk holds some big smallies and largies, and Beltzville has solid fish.

I'll most likely be fishing Chunk this weekend. I haven't fished the canal in a while but had some luck going in by Rock Hill in the past. I've never had much luck at Beltsville.

Beltzville can be a tough lake to fish, but there are very nice fish to be had. I can give you some spots if you would like. Do you fish from a boat or bank? Rock Hill can be fun.
