I usually fish with soft plastics, but only because i only own 3 hardbaits. I have 2 skitterwalks, which i have had success with, and a yo zuri swimbait. What are some other hardbaits that you guys use that work fairly well. If you could tell me brand, name, and type that would help for buying it. Also the cheaper the better.

Huge fan of rebel cranks, for the money they make some the best crawldads and insects on the market IMO. Also have become a fan of of the storm swim baits.

There are countless crankbaits that work well and trying to pick some can be a daunting task. I usually recommend deciding on the depth you want to cover and buying a brand you've heard of. Some reasonably priced lines are Rebel, Bomber, Norman, Heddon, Bandit, and others. Rapalas are a couple of bucks steeper but still under $10.

I recommend that you start cranking more because these baits are great fish attractors.

academy has good baits and often go on sale under $2. they also sell the cotton cordel rattle trap for $1.75

bps has a cheap jerkbait that has worked good for me.

I have really liked the liked KVD 1.5 Square bills cranks. They are about 5 a piece and have been having luck on the sunfish pattern. Top water could try a popper like a hula popper or a buzz bait. I like the black strike king big buzz.

Shad Raps if they are not out of your price range.
