Super User 00 mod Posted July 10, 2012 Super User Posted July 10, 2012 Wooohoo! Can't wait to try some out..... Jeff Quote
Gangley Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 Looks goood. Judging from the slits near the tail Im assuming its a side hooked bait meant for flipping and pitching. Throw a little chartruse die on the tail and fins and BAM!!! Quote
Super User Gatorbassman Posted July 10, 2012 Super User Posted July 10, 2012 HOLY COW!!!! Those look like fun. Quote
Gangley Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 Do you have a price point yet? It looks to have plenty of plastic so I assume it will be a hefty price. Worth a try regardless though, its a close resemblance to a beaver and Im sure can be fished like one with good results. Since I'm certain that you have done quite a bit of "beta" testing on it, what is your preferred method of rigging and how did you fish it? Quote
telmomarques Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 copied this off from big mouth warmouth baits Quote
Gangley Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 Not that I'm a big rage tail fan, but the action of the warmouth and the shellcracker are going to be COMPLETELY different. This is not a ripoff of one lure by another. last time I checked, the warmouth didnt have pectoral, side, and anal fins, textured scale patterns and gil slits along its side, and sure as heck didnt have the rage tail appendages. Keep a more open mind when looking at things, a little patience and inspection of the two lures would have shown you how different they truley are. After all, lure action is what truley sets one lure apart from another, and there is no way to deny that the actions of these two baits will be considerably different Quote
Captain Obvious Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 Kinda looks like the Big Bite Warmouth. Is this a new type of soft bait category? Kinda a flipping/swim-bait hybrid? Regardless looks cool Capt.O Quote
Super User Hi Salenity Posted July 10, 2012 Super User Posted July 10, 2012 I'm in, how soon can I get them? Quote

RyneB Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 I see money being spent in the near future. I can already see my conversation with my wife. Wife: do you really NEED those Me: yes, theyre new and i have to have them Wife: well they look like everything else you have Me: not at all, these baits have (i go on for 10 minutes why these are the best baits ever) Quote
Super User tomustang Posted July 10, 2012 Super User Posted July 10, 2012 What color options are their Mr Big O? The tail looks like you can use it two ways by either cutting it for twin action or for single wag, have any info on that? Quote
Super User Lund Explorer Posted July 10, 2012 Super User Posted July 10, 2012 I can't stop thinking about this bait. How's this idea? Rig it up on a light weight Rage Rig (maybe 1/16oz). Twitch it along just under the surface like a dying shad, letting it slowly sink every so often. Weighted like this, the bait should ride level on what looks like it's side, just like a half-dead baitfish. Can't wait for the next alewive spawn! Quote
prjavelin Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 can I have a package on any color for promotional/reviewing purposes Quote
scrutch Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 Steve, do you have an Indiana pro staffer yet? Quote
skeetercraig Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 looks like the warmouth and the war mouths stink in my opinion Quote
Bass_Fanatic Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 Looks awesome...Im pumped to fish these! Quote
